Welcome to our community!  We hope you will join us for Sunday worship at 9:00 at 1211 W. Arch Street, Coal Township, PA.  See the “Directions” page for how to find us.

Shamokin/Coal Township offers a first rate hospital – Geisinger Shamokin Area Hospitial.  Shoppers can find Wal-mart, two Weis supermarkets, Rite AId and CVS stores, as well as many fine restaurants and shops on the main streets of Shamokin.

We want to make you feel welcome in every way.  When you walk in the door, you will always be greeted with a smile.  We would love to get to know you when you visit us, so look for the “Welcome” card in the chair pockets and let us know how we can reach you.  If you need help with any services, check out our Information Table at the rear of the Worship Center and pick up one of our Helper cards for information on church members who can help with light repairs, shopping, rides to medical appointments, etc.

If you have any questions about the United Methodist Church,  about our church or about what a relationship with Jesus Christ might mean for you, Pastor Karyn and other members of the church will be glad to sit with you over a cup of coffee, tea, or hot chocolate and talk about matters of faith.  We have new informational classes forming all the time.  You can contact the church office at 570-648-2842.

If you need help providing food to your family – Manna for the Many is our local food pantry located in downtown Shamokin on Independence Street.  Hours are Tuesdays 9-11 a.m., Wednesdays 1-3 p.m., Thursdays 6-8 p.m.  Our community also supports the Salvation Army Thrift shop on Independence Street.
